Some Safe and Adorable Places to Visit with Your Kids This Christmas

Enjoying the holidays is going to be a little different this year due to COVID-19. All of us, especially our kids, are itching to get away safely during this Christmas. However, the situation we are in demands several restrictions when it comes to traveling.

It is almost impossible to say that traveling during this time is entirely safe. However, health experts argue that precaution-filled trips centered on safe outdoor activities and proper social distancing present lower risks.

Here is a list of some safe and adorable places to visit this Christmas with your kids.

Mammoth Mountain

If you and your family love snowboarding and skiing, Mammoth Mountain is the perfect Christmas destination for you. Here, you can take an aerial route and ride up to the mountain's summit to take in the spectacular view and explore all the fun at the top by taking a gondola ride. You can also skip the hiking altogether and catch a lift to the top, then fly down in one of the high-speed snow tubes as fast as you can in the woolly's tube park. Just make sure to comply with all the safety guidelines mentioned on their official site before planning your trip.

Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake's charming village is a great place to travel to for Christmas, especially since it is covered in beautiful decorations for the holiday season. Be sure to wear appropriate face coverings, maintain social distancing, and follow all other safety precautions while you visit and participate in the fun outdoor recreational activities.

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park is one of the most exciting national parks in the entire United States. No matter what age you are, you will feel amazed when you drive under El Capitan for the first time and see the beauty of what nature has to offer. While most people visit the park during the summer, it is still a wonderful place to visit during the fall and early winter.

Solvang

Solvang is an adorable Danish-style town full of cute shops, restaurants, wineries, charming hotels, and so much more. The whole city is full of Danish-themed festivities in December. If you are looking forward to spending Christmas with your children, Solvang is your spot!
